Francesco Di Camillo

PROJECT ARCHITECT

Francesco, an architect from Atri, Italy, blends international experience with a deep connection to his native Abruzzo landscape. He studied Architecture at the University of Chieti and Pescara, graduating with a thesis on urban space regeneration. Influenced by his region’s natural environment and a family tradition of artisanal craftsmanship, he developed a strong design sensibility during his academic journey. Through the Erasmus program, he studied at the Brandenburg University of Technology in Germany and interned at Cannatà & Fernandes Arquitectos in Porto, Portugal, where exposure to SAAL architecture deepened his interest in socially engaged design. In 2018, he joined AV Architects in the UK, working on residential projects, then returned to Abruzzo in 2020 to gain hands-on construction experience and co-found AUREAL, a research project on NFTs, BIM, and virtual environments. From 2021–2024, he led public projects at LAP Architettura, earning his BIM Specialist certification in 2025.
